40 million Euro worth of diamonds stolen from departing plane at Brussels Airport

The Helvetic "diamond plane"

In a movie-like heist, professional armed diamond thieves drove onto the Brussels Airport tarmac and stole more than 40 million Euro worth of diamonds from a plane without firing a single shot. It took them less than five minutes to cut through an airport fence, drive up to a Helvetic jet in fake police cars with flashing lights, hold up the pilot and security officials on the plane, and snatch 120 packages of rough diamonds, cut diamond and precious gems. The robbers carried machine guns, were dressed in police uniforms and camouflage masks.

The Brinks "diamond truck"
It was a well prepared theft operation. The diamond robbers knew exactly when the heavily armed and secured Brinks diamond truck would load" at 20:05. All of this indicates that the diamond robbery most probably was an inside-job.
